The Lord created everything in seven days well it took me eight long and hard days to make these pillow cases for my friend Clara as a 90th birthday present this past weekend. After two lost needles, one broken needle treader, many minutes of trying to find the mini hole, coming to the conclusion that I must be close to blind I got them done. Here is my final project. (before turning sixty it was so much easier to embroider!)

Gift bag to hold pillow cases in.
This is the gift bag that I created to hold Clara's gift in. The designer paper that I used had roses on it and I ran it through the textured plate and it came out looking like counted cross stitch material to match the pillow cases I made. I just love how stampin up matched other everyday things all around our regular life. What do you think? I hate to wrap a gift but love to do these gift bags they are so fun to make and mush easier to do.
Now I will show you another long lost project I owned my daughter Stephanie five years ago but never got around to doing. I made her sisters each a table top quilted tablecloth but never got around to doing hers. I had bought the material but just never sat down to do it. Well finally finished it and gave it to her on her birthday this year along with other birthday presents. Here it is.

Well what do you think? This took me several months to do but it was very hard to give up when I was done. When finished it fit the top of my queen size be with no overhang. I would of not taken much to turn it into a quilt but had no more red material left. Stamping is still my hoby but cannot give up my sewing either.
